For Pete’s Sake is a non-profit organization that provides relief for cancer patients and their families via all-inclusive respite vacations. Their program, Take A Break From Cancer, gives patients a chance to get away from the stresses of life, reconnect with their families and loved ones, and make new memories. SFM captured this spirit by showcasing real families who’ve benefited from respite vacations. The new website features easier navigation, custom graphics, and a stronger message of their mission through powerful visual storytelling.

Custom Graphics

With a client as unique as For Pete’s Sake and their powerful mission, boring stock photography just doesn’t cut it. That’s why Social Fire Media created a library of custom graphics that help to tell a story and create a lively personality throughout the site. Using the Adobe Creative suite, our graphic design team designed and implemented the following graphics.

Custom graphics include interactive elements that invite users to take an action on the site. Each element in the beach scene above, for example, correlates to a donation for a lost loved one. The beach graphic was later used to create a custom video to generate more donations on Giving Tuesday.
